The examination scheduling instructions in your eligibility letter will direct you to a section of Prometric’s website, where you can select and schedule your examination date and location

Two Ways to ASQ Re-certify

Re-certification by Exam: Sit for the exam. Required if your certification expired and is past the six-month grace period.

Re-certification Journal: Obtain a minimum of 18 re-certification units (RU) during your three-year certification period. The must be documented in your re-certification journal. Please send re-certification journals/applications, with payment, to our Re-certification Chair:

on August 1, 2013 ASQ Re-certification Journal Fee Increased to:

  • ASQ member fee for one journal is $69, up from $59;
  • ASQ member fee for multiple journals, is $89, up from $79.
  • Nonmember fees increase to $109 per journal

  • to establish contact with him BEFORE starting your re-cert package and the corresponding documentation.
  • There are new policies and procedure implemented & deployed which may save you time effort and postage

Keep your originals for at least 12 months. Applications and instructions are on the ASQ’s site.
